Bolt Load Measurement

One of the major causes of leaking flanges is incorrect bolt load. That is why we have developed the Boltsafe Sensor. This specially designed sensor measures the bolt load in bolted joints for a very accurate reading of the residual tension in the bolted joint. The Boltsafe Washers can be used with torque tools as well as with tensioners.

The Boltsafe sensor is characterized by the following features:

The BoltSafe is shaped as a regular washer, used as a washer, and is available in standard sizes to fit both metrical and imperial bolts in sizes. The design is rugged and able to withstand though environments. BoltSafe is available in two versions:

• BoltSafe PMS (Periodic Measurement System)
• BoltSafe CMS (Continuous Monitoring System)
